What's a yellow tab?
Any attraction worth going on at Disney is going to have a seatbelt on it. On most rides, your seatbelt is going to have a little yellow strap attached to it. Right before your ride takes off, a cast member will tell you to "pull on the yellow strap". This is how they check to make sure your seatbelt is actually fastened. Turns out, there are actually some crazy people out there who are seeking a little more thrill than normal by not wearing their seatbelt.
It's called a strap...
Now. I'm not going to fight with you on this. In fact, once upon a time, I even bought the domain yellowstraptravel.com. However, like any self-respecting Disney Adult, we did our research.
We took a talley of what each cast member said and on only one ride did they call it a strap. We asked them why they called it a strap instead of a tab, and they were quick to say that it is just how it's written in the manual, and they have to say it correctly in case of surprise inspections.
So. It's a tab!
